ABERHONDDU & DISTRICT MALE CHOIR
Founded 1937
The Friends of Aberhonddu Male Choir are a group of choir members wives known as the Ladies Committee. This committee was set up in the early
70's to fundraise for the choir, as expenses were begining to exceed their income and it is to this end that the Ladies continue to help.
The Ladies also run a 200 club and the proceeds after prizes and expenses also go towards the choir finances. There are some vacancies at present and if anyone is interested in taking part in the 200 draw, please contact us.
They also organise the social side of the choir and arrange hotel accommodation and buses for trips away. These trips have included The Albert Hall, London, Saline Mitchigan USA, Gousenou Brittany and Southern Ireland. There are many other interesting places around Britain we have visited and could also include, but the list would go on and on.
The Choir and Friends are one big "family" to be part of and we feel we are there to support each other whenever we can.
